During my stay, I enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the proximity to downtown Monterey, along with convenient access to Carmel and Big Sur. However, the rooms left much to be desired, as they were poorly ventilated and quite noisy, making it hard to sleep. The staff was polite and responded well to issues, but the dining options were overpriced and not satisfying. Overall, while it had some perks, I feel the value for money could be improved.
